The Greater Minnesota Worker Center (GMWC) was incorporated in St. Cloud in 2013 as a nonprofit organization to organize, advocate and empower low wage workers in greater Minnesota.
Since incorporation, the GMWC has been active in local campaigns to eliminate poverty wages and to raise the standards of living in central Minnesota.
Economic justice, social justice and immigrant rights are the three primary issue areas for GMWC.
The GWMC has a working board of directors who oversee the operations of the organization. The board provides both leadership in program development and direction in implementing activities in order to ensure organizational success.
